A Welcoming Home

An expanded center will allow our vibrant community to explore the good that is possible in challenging times, to innovate and inspire others, and to create a model for Jewish life on other small campuses. View our building plans below.

Building Community

When students share a meal together, they form strong bonds to one another and to their heritage. Our new dining room will accommodate up to 150 people and a kosher kitchen.

A café and lounge, open all day and night, will offer students the opportunity to relax and unwind among friends.

Students who choose to stay on campus during Jewish holidays can attend services in our sanctuary alongside neighbors.

Learning

Students can explore their Jewish identity with resources from our new library.

Small meeting spaces and a “homework bar” will invite students to use the center for academic work, student group meetings, and quiet study.

The sanctuary will double as a lecture hall for guest speakers.

Safe and Secure

The new center will feature secure access, ensuring that only members of the campus communities can gain entry.

The new spaces and programs, along with professional guidance from Rabbi Eli and Blumie, will foster a safe environment for open dialogue.

  • You can get upset about what is happening on campus or you can build back stronger.

We want people to look at the Bi-Co and see a real home for Jewish students, where they can explore and celebrate their identities with pride.”
